Andrew C. Richardson is the CEO of RCM Living, an affiliated asset management platform of Raven & Company that is focused on multifamily rent-by-bed development and management. He has served in this capacity since January 2021. Based in Dallas, Texas, Mr. Richardson leads the day-to-day management of platform assets as well as the capital markets effort across all stages of the investment cycle. Prior to joining RCM Living, Mr. Richardson was the Chief Operating Officer of Waypoint Residential, a private real estate investment firm focused on the U.S. rental housing sector. Mr. Richardson also served as the Chief Financial Officer and President of Land and Development of iStar, Inc., a NYSE-listed REIT, and as the Chief Financial Officer of Safehold Inc., a NYSE-listed ground lease REIT that is externally managed by iStar, from March 2018 to May 2019. Mr. Richardson also served as the Chief Financial Officer of The Howard Hughes Corporation, a NYSE-listed company that owns, manages and develops commercial, residential and mixed-use real estate throughout the U.S., from 2011 to 2016 and as the Chief Financial Officer of NorthStar Realty Finance Corp., a NYSE-listed real estate finance company, from 2006-2011. Mr. Richardson also serves as non-executive chairman of Alpine Income Property Trust, Inc., a NYSE-listed REIT focused on the net lease sector. Mr. Richardson received a BBA from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Nishant Machado

Nishant Machado

Nishant Machado is the CEO of Dividend Restaurant Group (“DRG”), which he co-owns and controls alongside Raven & Co. Mr. Machado was responsible for the restructuring of Macaroni Grill and the acquisition, integration, and turnaround of Sullivan’s Steakhouse and Eddie Merlot’s to create the current DRG platform. Previously, Mr. Machado was a Senior Managing Director at Mackinac Partners and has over 20 years of business, finance, and restructuring experience, including positions as interim CEO, CRO, COO, CFO and Lead Restructuring Advisor for public and private corporations. In this role, Mr. Machado led Mackinac’s restaurant and food industry practice. He is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) and has been recognized with the M&A Advisor’s “40 under 40” award for professional achievement. Mr. Machado graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in Business Management and a minor in Finance and Management Information Services.

John Shaheen is a Director with Raven and is engaged in the underwriting and management of principal finance investments across Raven’s target asset types. Prior to joining Raven in 2016, Mr. Shaheen was an Associate at Goldman Sachs in the Financial and Strategic Investors Group of the investment banking division, where he advised private equity firms and their portfolio companies on M&A, equity offerings, and acquisition financings. Mr. Shaheen began his career in Goldman Sachs’ Credit Risk Management and Advisory department, primarily covering consumer retail and healthcare companies. Mr. Shaheen received a BS with Highest Honors in Global Economics and Modern Languages and a Minor in Chinese from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
